Alex's path toward Osteopathy began during his Physiotherapy studies, when he became fascinated by the osteopathic philosophy of treating the person as a whole. His professional training spans over 11 years. He graduated with a degree in Physiotherapy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas (PUC-Campinas) in 1994 and completed his Osteopathy education in 2004 at the Madrid School of Osteopathy (EOM) and his DO in Osteopathy by the Scientific European Federation of Osteopaths (SEFO) . He also undertook additional studies at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (KCOM) and Andrew Taylor Still University (ATSU) in the U.S.

Beyond Osteopathy, Alex holds advanced training in Functional Orthopedics, Traumatology, and Global Postural Re-education (RPG- Souchard) at the UIPTM , allowing him to provide highly personalized and effective care.

Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, Alex is a respected leader in the osteopathic community. He is a past president of the Alberta Association of Osteopathic Manual Therapists (AAOMT), where he has been a member since 2016. He also served as vice president and board member of the Canadian Federation of Osteopaths (CFO) between 2016 and 2018.
